Food Hack! Make your own hummus. EASY!





 
This really is easy. I make it all of the time. The nice thing about making your own is you know exactly what’s in it.
 
Ingredients:
1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained, liquid reserved
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
2 tablespoons lemon juice
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon of salt (I add more because I’m awesome.)
1 teaspoon Sriracha Hot sauce (*Optional. I add this, because once again, I’m awesome.)

Directions:
In a blender or food processor, combine garbanzo beans, cumin, lemon juice, garlic, salt, hot sauce, and 1 tablespoon of the reserved bean liquid. Blend until smooth.

Need it smoother? Add a bit more of the reserved bean liquid and blend it up again.

Serve!
