These folks looked at these statues and saw something that made them act for the good of the internet. They saw, in their mind’s eye, an opportunity for a funny picture and they took it. I am so glad that they did!!
Be aware however, that taking a lewd or humorous photograph with a statue of Jesus can get you arrested in some parts of the United States!
Doing this could get you jail time!
Officials in Bedford County charged a teen (whose name hasn’t been released) with desecration of a venerated object, invoking a 1972 Pennsylvania statute that criminalizes “defacing, damaging, polluting or otherwise physically mistreating in a way that the actor knows will outrage the sensibilities of persons likely to observe or discover the action.”
You might think that an appropriate punishment for a kid violating this seldom-invoked law might be picking up trash or, at worst, paying a fine. however, If convicted, the boy faces much worse: two years in juvenile detention.
Remember, all of this is because of simulated oral sex with a statue of Jesus…

Alternatively-”Congress shall make no law abridging the right to hump a statue of Jesus.”
