11 Unbelievable Stories From The Past Week That, Sadly, Are Very True!

Behold! Below you will find 10 stories from the week that are so outrageous, that you might at first glance think that they are fabricated…

Sadly, these stories are true!

1. Hillary Clinton Snags The Sex Worker Vote

Bunny Ranch Sex Workers Endorse Hillary Clinton For President
It’s still extremely early in the 2016 presidential race, but Democratic hopeful Hillary Clinton has just locked up one constituency. She’s won the support of the prostitutes at the Moonlite Bunny Ranch, a legal brothel in Carson City, Nevada, who have launched a “Hookers For Hillary” campaign in her support…

This story is bizarre, but very true. I am sure that any politician would love to receive such an endorsement…

2. Couple found guilty of having sex on Florida beach

sex on the beach
They face 15 years of imprisonment and must register as sex offenders
A jury Monday found a couple guilty of having sex on Bradenton Beach after only 15 minutes of deliberation. The convictions carry a maximum prison sentence of 15 years. Jose Caballero, 40, and Elissa Alvarez, 20, were charged with two counts each of lewd and lascivious behavior for having sex on a public beach on July 20, 2014. Video played in the courtroom during the 1- 1/2-day-long trial showed Alvarez moving on top of Caballero in a sexual manner in broad daylight. Witnesses testified that a 3-year-old girl saw them. Both Caballero and Alvarez will now have to register as sex offenders…

I think that the entire nation, no the entire world, has become numbed to anything that comes out of the state of Florida. Some tourists come to Florida, get drunk, and get a little physical on a beach. It’s not right, but 15 years? Registering as sex offenders? You have to be kidding! Some murderers don’t get that kind of prison sentence!

3. Woman Denied $41M Casino Jackpot After Glitch: Court

When an 87-year-old Illinois grandmother bet a quarter in an Iowa slot machine in 2011, she thought she’d hit it big.
The screen said: “The reels have rolled your way! Bonus Award – $41797550.16.”Pauline McKee and her daughter excitedly summoned casino employees to collect what they thought was a $41.8 million jackpot. But state officials later concluded the award was a computer glitch and that the Isle Hotel Casino in Waterloo didn’t have to pay…

Well that must have been horrible for that little old lady. Imagine the feeling of elation she must have had when she saw that jackpot! Imagine that feeling of despair when she was told it was just a “glitch” in the system! The casino should have given her a couple of grand and just settled this, would have been better publicity for them.

4. Christian Leaders, Including Franklin Graham and Mike Huckabee, Say ‘We Will Not Obey’ if Supreme Court Legalizes Gay Marriage

A group of prominent Christian leaders have threatened civil disobedience based on Biblical principles should the the Supreme Court choose to legalize same-sex marriage nationwide.
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum, Pastor John Hagee, and Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse are among a group of religious leaders who have signed the pledge, titled “Pledge in Solidarity to Defend Marriage,” which highlights their belief in traditional marriage. “We respectfully warn the Supreme Court not to cross that line,” reads the document. “We stand united together in defense of marriage. Make no mistake about our resolve.” The pledge continues, “While there are many things we can endure, redefining marriage is so fundamental to the natural order and the common good that this is the line we must draw and one we cannot and will not cross.”

I just don’t understand the anger and vitriol towards the concept of gay marriage. I know that some people are religious and it is their right not to marry members of the same sex within the confines of their religion.
We aren’t talking about the christian sacrament of marriage in this case, but rather the state’s decision to issue licenses to same sex couples. How are you “not going to obey” anyway? These folks need to move on…

5. Nebraska Woman Files Suit Against All Homosexuals

A Nebraska woman identifying herself as the “ambassador” for plaintiffs “God and His Son, Jesus Christ,” is suing all homosexuals on Earth for breaking “religious and moral laws,” according to court records filed Tuesday.
In the suit, entered into the docket as Driskell v. Homosexuals, Sylvia Ann Driskell, 66, of Auburn, Nebraska, asks in a seven-page, neatly handwritten petition (PDF) that U.S. District Judge John M. Gerrard decide once and for all whether homosexuality is or isn’t a sin.
The suit doesn’t cite any case law under which a judge could make such a determination. In fact, it cites no court cases at all, quoting Webster’s Dictionary and numerous Bible verses, instead, to bolster Driskell’s central contention, which is:

“That homosexuality is a sin and that they the homosexuals know it is a sin to live a life of homosexuality. Why else would they have been hiding in the closet.”

I have no idea what to say here… This is just crazy on top of crazy… Remember, it gets better with every generation!

6. Bank Robber Brazenly Instagrams Video Of His Own Heist, Police Say

An alleged bank robber’s ego led to his arrest, after he posted video on Instagram that gives a first-person perspective of the heist.
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) — “For real, I didn’t even do it for money, you understand? I didn’t do that for money. I knew my page would get exposure,” explained Dominyk Alfonseca as he sat in the Virginia Beach Correctional Center Wednesday.
Alfonseca, who is accused of robbing TowneBank at Virginia Beach Town Center, posted pictures and video on his Instagram account showing the note he gave to a teller at the branch Monday, as well as the teller piling money on the counter.
He maintained he simply and politely made a request, and the teller obliged him…

Bank robbery for internet fame! Whether this was performance art or just dumb criminal activity I think he might have gone a little too far.

7. Canadian Couple Return To Their Airbnb Rental To Find Home Trashed After ‘Drug-Induced Orgy’

Screen Shot 2015-05-07 at 3.23.36 PM
A Canadian family is dealing with a rental nightmare after advertising their home on the popular listing site Airbnb.
Mark and Star King rented their two-story home in Calgary to four adults who told the couple they were in town for a wedding, according to reports from CBC News. The pair returned to find a complete disaster after what police called a “drug-induced orgy” — hardwood floors were buckling from pools of alcohol, the home was littered with used condoms and there was food spread throughout the house.
“There was mayonnaise on furniture and barbecue sauce everywhere and chicken meat in my shoes,” Star King said in a video interview with CBC. “We had a beautiful home … and I feel like I’m standing inside of a dumpster.”

The company has assured the couple it will cover the costs of repairs, which police initially estimated would hover around $75,000, until the damage tally was revised to double that amount…

Wow! Part of me just loves hearing stories like this. I mean, if you rent your house to strangers, this is what can happen. Welcome to the sharing economy!

8. Maryland Cop Charged with Biting Man’s Testicle During Cinco de Mayo Brawl

An Anne Arundel County Maryland cop in Baltimore to celebrate Cinco de Mayo on Tuesday bit another man’s testicles during a brawl over a woman, authorities said Wednesday.

Michael Flaig, 30, was charged with assault after the fight Tuesday night in the alley behind Looney’s Pub in Baltimore’s South Linwood neighborhood.
According to the charging documents, Flaig had been fondling a woman when her friend and roommate, the alleged assault victim, intervened. The alleged assault victim left on foot not long after but heard footsteps behind him. When he turned, he saw a fist coming at his face, according to court papers. But the victim managed to dodge the punch, bring Flaig to the ground, and then straddle him, the court papers read. Flaig struggled to escape while a second man, who police have yet to identify or arrest, punched the victim.
Unable to break free, Flaig allegedly bit the victim in the crotch and ran off…

Holy huevos, Batman! What the heck is wrong with people? What kind of man bites another man’s berries? At least the victim can always tell the story about the day he tea-bagged a police officer!

9. City employee fired after watching porn on the job for 39 hours over two weeks

Baltimore City officials estimate the 39 hours an employee spent watching pornography on the job during a two-week period equated to about $1,166 in salary.
The maintenance supervisor with the Department of Public Works — who city officials did not identify, citing personnel confidentiality — was bringing a pornography DVD to work and watching it at his computer, according to a report released last week by the Office of the Inspector General. The employee was suspended without pay in September and fired January 20 after a termination appeal. Inspector General Rob Pearre Jr. said the case, which came to light after an anonymous complaint to
the Office of Information Technology, was unusual. He said the city has a policy against an employee using city time and equipment for non-city functions, regardless of the nature of what’s being viewed.

“It would have been the same if he were watching sports on his computer for four out of eight hours a day,” Pearre said…

Way to go, Charm City! I just love how Baltimore is always in the news for positive things!

10. Report: 1,580 IRS workers evaded taxes over 10-year period

Nearly 1,600 IRS workers were found to have willfully evaded taxes over a 10-year period, including some who were responsible for enforcing the nation’s tax laws.
It’s a small percentage of the tax agency’s employees — about 160 workers a year out of a workforce of 85,000. A new report by the agency’s inspector general said most were not fired, even though a 1998 law calls for terminations when IRS workers willfully don’t pay their taxes. The penalty must be waived by the IRS commissioner. Among their offenses: improperly claiming dependents, repeated failure to file timely tax returns, and claiming a tax credit for first-time homebuyers when the worker didn’t buy a house.

Some received promotions, raises and bonuses after they were caught willfully not paying their taxes, the report said…

Why am I not surprised? Then again, I suppose that willfully evading taxes could just be research for these guys…

11. Islamic State opens luxury hotel?but guests face beheading if they break rules

Fighters for the brutal terror group have refurbished the Ninawa International Hotel in Mosul, the northern Iraqi city currently under IS control.
The 262-bed, five-star hotel, once voted the best place to stay in Iraq, has had an ISIS makeover with manicured gardens and freshly-polished marble floors. It is unclear whether the hotel once famed for its “luxurious elegance and comfort” has retained its bowling alley and sauna after the recent renovations. Members of the group’s notorious al-Khansaa brigade ? its female police force – are understood to be tasked with patrolling the grounds to check clients are obeying strict Sharia law.

Patrons risk amputation or beheading for failing to adhere to the Islamic rules that govern the area.

This is my favorite of the week! I just can’t imagine why people wouldn’t want to run off to Iraq for that second honeymoon!
What I really need to see is ISIS advertise tourism for the Caliphate. I mean, Jewish, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, and gay people will not be welcomed, right? What would the slogan be?
